Everyday Oil Uses

Essential Oils seem to be popping up all over lately and I for one am glad. I use only Young Living Essential Oils so when I talk about getting started with EO's that is the brand I am referring to.

When you first start with essential oils think about the goals you have in mind. Are you looking to enhance your healthy lifestyle or are you just beginning and have no clue?

If you are just starting out this is the blog post for you. I love introducing people to the possibilities of using EO's and the natural, healthy qualities these oils provide.

In Young Living's everyday oil kit you actually receive ten (10) oils that can replace your medicine cabinet. As a person with chemical sensitivities it has helped me to treat my aches and pains or allergies naturally. Now instead of reaching for something over the counter I reach for an oil.

Below I have listed out the everyday oils kit that you receive in the Premium Starter Kit from Young Living when you sign up to become a wholesale customer. I have also listed just a few of the many uses for each oil and how to replace your medicine cabinet.

Lavender is my go to oil for a nice relaxing bath or I apply it to my 3 yr old to help sleep at night.

Frankincense helps me with concentration and can also be applied to help soothe my itchy skin.

Valor: I carry stress in my shoulders so I put this on my shoulders and at times on the tops of my feet where the reflex points are for the shoulders.

Peppermint is wonderful when made as a tea or one to two drops in water to help with my digestion.

Thieves: I apply this to my feet often to help boost my immune system.

Panaway: In the past when I have struggle with sciatic pain I have applied Panaway on the bottoms of my feet and my hip area. Usually within 5-10 minutes I can feel the relief from aches.

Peace & Calming: I use this for those nights when I have restless legs and can't lay down or sit still.

Purification: stinky boys feet!! Works wonders on smells and odors. I have a house full of 7 men trust me on this :)!

Lemon: I use Lemon in my water on a daily basis and also while I'm cooking.

Joy is my mood enhancer. When I'm feeling grumpy or sad I apply Joy to lift my mood.

There you have it all 10. This of course is a short list of the many uses for these amazing oils. I would be happy to discuss any of the information provided along with helping you purchase a kit of your own.

Thankful Thursday

1/16/2014

It has been my practice when I start to have a pity party that I try to focus on the things I should be thankful for in my life. This past weekend I was beyond blessed to have a day to myself. I was a little bummed that I was not able to go and have a girls weekend so I started doing my usual routine of cleaning, laundry etc..
After a while I just needed to get out of the house so I headed to the grocery store. First of all I don't like shopping (unless it is a bookstore) for anything but it is a necessity of life. After getting the grocery business out of the way I stopped at our Second Chance emporium and was blessed with paperback books at 10 for $1.00! Woohoo! Jackpot for this girl right here.
After that amazing find I decided to stop at a few shops in town that just opened up. No luck there but I remembered a little antique store I had not been to yet.
I walked in the door and was greeted by a wonderful lady full of love for the Lord. She and I had such a wonderful conversation talking about the things of God and how great He is! The time passed by so quickly!
Just the boost I needed and I knew the Lord had planned out the day just for me. Now when I feel my pity party coming on I can remember this day and know blues won't last long.
What are you thankful for this week?

Welcome to Yours Truly Ministry! I am so glad you have stopped by my little corner of the web. The mission here at Yours Truly is to help you build your faith until you can believe you can be well. I am not offering any magic potion or some get well quick scheme. What I am willing to help you with is a lifestyle change to improve your everyday life. Most of us are just surviving life not thriving or enjoying it.

If you are ready to start a faith filled journey with Jesus being the leader and center of your life, I would be honored to walk with you. I will be glad to share with you all that I have learned and to learn from you as well. You can make a change in your life and you can start this year.
Philippians 4:13 states "I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me."
