![]() Essential Oils seem to be popping up all over lately and I for one am glad. I use only Young Living Essential Oils so when I talk about getting started with EO's that is the brand I am referring to. When you first start with essential oils think about the goals you have in mind. Are you looking to enhance your healthy lifestyle or are you just beginning and have no clue? If you are just starting out this is the blog post for you. I love introducing people to the possibilities of using EO's and the natural, healthy qualities these oils provide. In Young Living's everyday oil kit you actually receive ten (10) oils that can replace your medicine cabinet. As a person with chemical sensitivities it has helped me to treat my aches and pains or allergies naturally. Now instead of reaching for something over the counter I reach for an oil. Below I have listed out the everyday oils kit that you receive in the Premium Starter Kit from Young Living when you sign up to become a wholesale customer. I have also listed just a few of the many uses for each oil and how to replace your medicine cabinet. Lavender is my go to oil for a nice relaxing bath or I apply it to my 3 yr old to help sleep at night. Frankincense helps me with concentration and can also be applied to help soothe my itchy skin. Valor: I carry stress in my shoulders so I put this on my shoulders and at times on the tops of my feet where the reflex points are for the shoulders. Peppermint is wonderful when made as a tea or one to two drops in water to help with my digestion. Thieves: I apply this to my feet often to help boost my immune system. Panaway: In the past when I have struggle with sciatic pain I have applied Panaway on the bottoms of my feet and my hip area. Usually within 5-10 minutes I can feel the relief from aches. Peace & Calming: I use this for those nights when I have restless legs and can't lay down or sit still. Purification: stinky boys feet!! Works wonders on smells and odors. I have a house full of 7 men trust me on this :)! Lemon: I use Lemon in my water on a daily basis and also while I'm cooking. Joy is my mood enhancer. When I'm feeling grumpy or sad I apply Joy to lift my mood. There you have it all 10. This of course is a short list of the many uses for these amazing oils. I would be happy to discuss any of the information provided along with helping you purchase a kit of your own. *Note: any and all information provided is for educational purposes only.
